Med Flight

Last night was a fun Med flight where we moved a lot of patients around getting them to the places that they needed to go. I love these missions as we really are helping people when they need it the most. That is why I felt like poop when on the last landing back here after 5 smooth take offs and 4 smooth landings I just pranged the last one in. It was really not that bad but it was not nearly as smooth as the rest of the flight and it just sucked that I ended it on that note, but I guess such is life.

I ended up heading straight to bed and sleeping for about 11 hours. I guess I was tired after our 2 flights in a row. When I got up this morning I opened the boxes that I have received from Amy and Grandma Dawn. Thank you both for everything. I will pass the food out to my crew and Amy you should have left the internet cable plugged in back in WY as it would have been long enough and much faster than what I have now!

So the big news this week is I worked the schedule to get us off of work Sat morning so we can run in a 12 mile ruck march. I am not doing this with a ruck sack but just in PT gear but it will be the furthest that I have ever tried to run. I will let you all know how it turns out, I just hope that I can make it as 12 miles is starting to sound further and further the closer it comes to the start of the race. But hey I get a free T shirt out of it if I am one of the first 400 idiots to finish it.

OK well if this uploads I’ll try and add the pictures below. Keep smiling and I miss ya all.
