I love sea level

OK so I decided to go for a run, I know there must be something wrong with me. Well my trusty copilot told me that the run from our rooms to the control tower was 3 miles, so I naively believed him and starting running. I made it to the tower though not out of breath, I was quite sure that I had just run more than 1.5 miles. The extra air down here at sea level sure helped, or did it. Because I could breath I just kept running, so now it was my legs that said this is too far. Well like any stubborn fool, I turned around when I got to the tower and continued the run home. I kept saying in my head just a little further, just a little more well the trick worked, I kept running all the way home. This was good in the fact that I felt like I had gone for a good run, and by now I WAS out of breath. The bad part, now I am feeling the after affects of starting up a PT program at warp speed.

I worked out yesterday and hope to ease back into the working out, good idea, bad execution. Johnny C, my last copilot was a great help last year getting me into shape and I thought of him as I was doing “our” routine. Also things are a little different with motivation. Last year I was trying to get my body in shape for a special someone and now I am trying to get my body back in shape for her so that we can get have some nice picture for years to come ;)

Well it is about that time, dinner calls… Aloha!
