Still HOT!

OK so the internet is still down in my room and I can’t update this but I felt like writing. Rose this girl reminded me of you today. She was this little cute girl in pt gear with combat boots and a Kevlar helmet strapped on her head. Don’t know why I though immediately of you other then it being a cute little Army girl and it made me think of the old days when you used to wear a uniform =)

Today I sat out behind my room absorbing some of the sun’s rays and listening to some tunes from the ipod. Dad that’s for that, I never thought I would use it as much as I do but I use it every day in the gym and in the plane for everyone in the back and well even today sitting in the 110+ heat.

So about this 110+ heat, I have been laying on a cot behind the POD (our living quarters) and the cot has an aluminum frame. Well this frame gets pretty hot in the sun, but like most things it only is hot for a second after you touch it, or so I though. I was lying down and my arms were on the canvas part of the cot but the hot metal was under that and it still hurt a bit. My instincts were to let the pain go away after the metal cooled down, well after 3 hours my arms still have marks, aka burns on them from where I they laid on the cot. This thermal nuclear heat that they got over here is crazy!!!

Just look at how duck tape fairs in the sun.

Ok time to study some, I think I need to make my brain a little smarter.
