Feeling HOT HOT HOT

OK the big news was not as big as I thought it would be, I guess because no one was hurt it didn’t make front page news. I just thought a C-130 going down in Baghdad would be something that the news would love to talk about. I guess having Clinton and Obama on stage at the same time was bigger news. Or many the public affairs office is doing a REALLY good job on keeping this as quite as they can, either way I am just surprised at what makes new these days.

If I was picking the front page articles today it would be the heat, yea over 122F today here! Can you say HOT?! It’s getting to the point of just plain ridiculous, I mean if you were to open an oven door and get hit in the face with that blast of hot air, it would make you want to turn away right? Now I don’t turn away but walk right into it as I need to get to the bathroom, or chow hall, or to work. It literally blows!!! It was blowing so hard today that it kicked up the sand/dust and I got weathered out of a field today.

The crazy thing is they are sending me right back out, guess I didn’t save the world today like I thought. Wish me better luck tomorrow as I need to get some shut eye.
