Back to the Islands

OK well I am on a plane right now heading to Hawaii. I am going to see my Dad and then Jerry and Rose on the Big Island for about a week. I will try and post more when I actually do something.

OK now the trip is over but I should tell you a little about it...

Hawaii was awesome, I met up with Shalin my college roommate that now lives on the north shore and gets to surf everyday! It was so good to see him and it just blows me away that he is getting paid to live in Hawaii, unreal!

I truly miss just walking on the beach and eating shave ice and just the incredible laid back and caring nature of Hawaii.

I was so glad that my brother Ronnie made it out for a BBQ at the house with his wife, it was a great time. It was way to long sense I had seen him.

My Dad and I flew over to the Big Island and we stayed with Jerry and Rose and had the privilege of seeing Rose's mom, I had not seen her for over 12 years. We ate a lot and even used a chainsaw to “trim” the roof back. It was so nice to just sit in the Hammock and sip on a few Margaritas and well enjoy life.

My favorite flower is Gardenia and this was a HUGE Gardenia bush

I wish I could show you some more pictures but I was too busy enjoying the time off that I didn’t take the camera out that much.

So the Hawaii part of the vacation had to come to an end but I am bring my Dad back with me so that he can see my place in Cheyenne.
