Ahh at last we don't have to swim back from the showers =) and yes those are cinder blocks that are sinking...
The good news is that Iraq has stopped sinking as of this morning, but the bad news is that the weather guys told us not even to expect any real rain till today and tomorrow, so we will see what happens.
Also on a good note our row was not the best but by far not the worst, the worst set of living quarters were in front of the Commander and all the big wigs, so rumor has it they called CE (Civil Engineering) to get our little drainage problem fixed!
Well I just got back from my morning run, I am trying to stop sweating before I take a shower. I should not say this too loud by WOW it is nice not to set an alarm. After I got my new mattress here I have been sleeping 9+ hours every night. I am not saying that I like being here but there are some perks to deployments.
