Duty Screw

Well it has started I am sitting duty crew. This is normally a painful process but this week it is extra painful. I get to sit the desk for 12 hours a day for 8 straight days, yea! I know I know how did I win this wonderful schedule, well I did nothing wrong, in fact I think I did a good thing. JD my Nav was having some family issues so I had let him know that I can head home and he wisely said yes. Because that leaves us down to 2 people to cover a 24 hour shift it kinda makes the math easy…

But I am doing fine so far on this desk, just means no free time. I did manage to hit the gym this morning and that was awesome. It makes all the difference in the world to be felling good when you come in to work. I also got to use my new ipod for the first time today. Yep it came in the mail and I got to put a few songs on it and try it out, pretty slick if I do say so myself.

Today at the office I put a bunch more music on the ipod and also updated my outlook contacts as they also transfer to the ipod. Oh it’s a nano for those that want to know. I also backed up some movies on my computer and organized my pictures, yes 12 hours is a long time. I don’t know what I am going to do tomorrow but I am sure that it will take 12 hours =)
