Merry Christmas everyone! Well it’s that time of the year again and it’s a wonderful day here in Iraq. The sun is shining and the temps are great, about 65ish and just a great day. I opened a few gifts that Mom had sent so now our food shelf is restocked nicely, thanks Mom!

I got the crew these silly hats to wear today and I am not taking mine off, I guess it’s the little things that make me happy.

The crew at the DFAC (that’s military talk for chow hall) did a great job getting ready for the feast today. There was everything from cakes to bread to waterfalls and the now infamous Pineapple Alligator. The food was good and the company better. I am off to take a nap as I get the privilege of sharing the skies with Santa tonight.

OK well I just wanted to say hi and show you what a goofball I look like today.
